An experienced Plano criminal law attorney on your side

My name is Mac Morris, and I am a Plano criminal defense attorney with more than 16 years experience representing people  throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex Area. I handle all types of criminal defense cases for my clients, including DWI or DUI, drug possession or delivery, probation revocations, writs and jail release, and all forms of assault, including domestic violence and aggravated assaults. I also litigate a wide variety of federal criminal cases, including drug conspiracy and trafficking charges, armed robbery of armored cars and white collar crimes.

How I approach each case

Before practicing law, I served as a teacher and coach in the Texas public school system for 10 years. I use my background in education to teach my clients about the legal process and help them understand their options. I give my clients the legal information that many attorneys often charge for.  My goal is to make sure you have the right attorney, not the right priced attorney.

As a solo practitioner, I work personally with each client to help them develop solutions to their legal problems. Clients are not passed off to an associate or have to go through a paralegal to talk to an attorney. I am here for my clients every step of the way, from answering questions on the phone to representing their interests at trial. You can feel confident that I have the dedication, experience and skill to help you secure the best possible results in your case.

Learn more about my background

I was raised in Hobart, Oklahoma and went to college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University where I graduated in 1982.  After graduation, I moved to Texas and began my 10 year teaching and coaching career. I received my Juris Doctorate degree from Oklahoma City University in December 1994, and began representing people arrested, accused or charged with criminal offenses in May 1995.
